Research Day (RD2024) is an exciting opportunity for all Spelman students to showcase their creative scholarship and research excellence. Traditionally, approximately 1,000 students, staff and faculty attend this campus-wide event which includes over 200 student presenters from various majors including but not limited to Art & Visual Culture, Biology, Chemistry, English, Music, Economics, Religion, Dance Performance, Political Science, Education, Psychology, Environmental Science, and Computer Science.
Why Participate? At Spelman College, we strongly encourage student researchers to actively engage in Research Day for its multifaceted benefits. This event not only facilitates meaningful connections with peers, faculty, and mentors but also positions students as advocates for undergraduate research. Participation enhances professional profiles, adding depth to resumes and signaling a commitment to academic excellence. Beyond showcasing findings, Research Day provides a dynamic learning experience, refining essential career skills.
